Project consisting of printed multi-format scripts, with enlarged text, braille, embossed images, pictograms and a “quick response” (QR) code that links to a website with its audiobook and videobook versions (Portuguese Sign Language).
The work was authored by Ana Mano, Diana Fernandes and Humberto Aguiar, within the scope of the Laboratório de Comunicação Acessível Curricular Unit, integrated into the study plan of Mestrado em Comunicação Acessível, at Politécnico de Leiria.

Visitors to the Batalha Monastery have information in Braille, pictographic language, audio guide and video guide in Brazilian Sign Language. The material is also available on the Monastery’s website ( sítio web) , under “Learning with heritage” > “Inclusive supports”. This project is the result of a partnership between CRID and the Educational Service of the Batalha Monastery, coordinated by Célia Sousa (CRID) and Rita Quina (Battle Monastery).
